This is a fully-restored farmhouse cottage, dating back to the 18th century. The accommodation we provide is the entire cottage, not just a bedroom. The cottage, which is attached to the end of the main farmhouse has oak beams throughout, with one large bedroom, a cosy and relaxing lounge, a library room, and a modern deluxe shower room. It is set within its own extensive grounds, and the whole ambiance just invites you to relax, unwind and enjoy this perfect Dordogne retreat. Outside the cottage is a sun terrace with a shaded area, a perfect spot for a cool drink to relax and unwind after a journey, a day out, or a dip in the swimming pool. Directly from the sun terrace, your own front door leads you into a charming and restful lounge. Care has been taken to keep the original features, with the old beams and fireplace tastefully shown with modern and subdued lighting. Heavy drapes, pictures and an original Dutch ship's oil lamp, match perfectly the old French fireplace with lace surround and shotgun above. A cool and cosy retreat after the heat of the day.
